One of the aspects of some relationships with gurus is that the guru may operate as the god of their chelas (students), by which I mean, that the guru may insert themself between the crown chakra of the chela and their own higher self, or may insert themself between the higher self of the individually ensouled chela and the true God Source (God / Goddess / All-That-Is). Alternatively, or additionally, the Guru may install the "guru cord" between themself (the guru) and the occiput (the hollow at the back of the skull) of the chela. At any of these connection points, the guru may exert willful control overriding the will of the chela, and more importantly, or more accurately, more covertly, by controlling the spiritual information of the chela, they may thereby subvert the will of the chela.
The usual initiation of a chela under a guru will involve the insertion of the guru cord, and this is often perceived as a "blessing" initially, because the chela is uplifted from their "lowly" spiritual reality into the guru's reality, and in the process the guru "pays the price" of taking on the karma of the chela, which is often also usully initially perceived as a blessing by the chela, however, eventually, unless the guru strongly supports the independence of the chela, the guru will limit the growth of the chela to keep them dependent upon the guru, and this then begins to create new self-karma for the chela, and creates karma between the guru and chela.
Notice above that I referred specifically to the chela as being "individually ensouled", for I was indeed describing the corresponding condition of actually having an individual "higher self". In the case of "organic portals", then there is no individuated "higher self", for the "organic portals" all share the one collective "higher self", also known as the "Christ self". If you study many of the teachings about "The Ascended Masters", (e.g. Elizabeth Claire Prophet), you will see their diagrams of the structure of spiritual reality, and they're all describing the reality of "organic portals". The entire group soul, half of the population of humans on Ter-Ra, share the one higher self, and so their "ascension process" is a shared process, and for them, indeed, the one "higher self" which they all share, "The Christ", is their saviour, their ticket to eternal life. Conversely, for those of us who are individuated ensouled beings, we have our own independent "higher self", who is our individual "saviour", the aspect of us which is eternal, the relationship with whom it is vital for us to develop, in order for us to advance upon our individual path of individual ascension, the path of the sovereign individual.
While it may be appropriate for many spirits to have the lessons which go with the kind of experience offered by a guru, it was not my path... for I had long ago been trained in, and attained, spiritual seniority and sovereignty about all of my own spiritual reality, as a necessary precondition to succeed at, and remain self-sufficiently healthy at, operating as a healer, whereby i have to keep my reality together, deal with another's reality, and be senior to all of that... otherwise I lose control of the healing space and that could endanger my students or healees, or I could lose control of my own reality, and get very sick.
A fair amount of the spiritual healing needing done for people to be healthy is in fact exorcism, to remove from messing with their reality, the entities who possess and control or otherwise abuse them, and when I heal someone by pulling out possessing entities, it is most common that those entities turn and attack me for depriving them of their victim. So, I actually have to retain control of the healing space and reality while under attack. In other words, doing exorcisms is rarely fun or easy.
The very first reading / healing I ever did, guided by one of the students of my eventual teacher, before I had begun training under my teacher, was of a chela of Rajneesh (later known as Osho), and I saw that he was limiting the spiritual information from the akashic records that the chela was trying to get access to, and so the solution for the maximum growth and empowerment of that being was to exorcise the guru who blocked them, and when I did so, Rajneesh knocked me physically off my chair, for he weilded the spiritual power and will of all his chelas. That was not the only time I worked with a chela of Rajneesh, whose spiritual growth was being blocked to keep them dependent. And Rajneesh / Osho is not the only guru I've confronted over my many years, for their spiritually unethical practices.
It was especially in association with the process of guru confrontation,
that I developed the phrase:
"I shall appear as a witness against you in the Inter-Galactic Court of the Lords of Karma.",
which is used right after making a statement to them that
a particular spiritual practice of theirs is harmful to other spirits,
the full pattern being:
"I'm bringing to your consciousness that a choice you're making
is causing harm to others,
and that if you persist in that choice,
you shall be held karmically accountable for each and every instance
subsequent to my delivering this notice to you."
Looking back on it all, I realize that a lot of the information about all of this came from my teacher's classes on "Supreme Beings and Sub-supreme Beings". And, I must say, that the very most precious thing I learned from her, was spiritual ethics... but then, I sought her out as my teacher specifically because it was part of her reputation that she was well known for the highest of ethics. I think that goal and choice may have been the best of my whole life. I'm finding it reinforced now as I study the shift of consciousness we're going through, that ethics is the single most important thing for us all now.
The bottom line for me traces back to my training to accept nothing less than the highest "god" which is "the source", which is God / Goddess / All-That-Is / Source / the-great-creatrix, has no face or name and has never been incarnate, and yet is all faces and all of incarnation, for it is everything including all of physicality, and for all of us who trained with my teacher, the only will we ever experienced from that source was the desire to receive from us the information (emotions) of our experience, never what we should be or do, just she wanted to learn from us, which she does when we send our feelings up through our higher self, where they are recorded in the akashic records, and are experienced by our higher self, who shares them up to "source".
Think of "to understand", it is to "stand under"... what you put your crown chakra under, you "stand under", and you "understand" it... and become influenced by it.
Our crown chakra is our connection to spiritual source, and if we permit any entity between us and the infinite source I have described, then we can be "steered" thereby, our perception colored, our will "perverted", etc. Anything that insists upon being "over" our head, is trying to be our God.
Well then, celeste, what about our own "higher-self"?
It is even possible, given enough self-responsibility,
combined with a level of mastery over higher
density energy constructs,
to "graduate" from soul-level to entity-level independence, i.e.
to come out from under one's own "higher-self".
