In many ways I find in watching this movie quite a challenge to "stomach" all the violence and martial arts, yet I'm sure this is just what many need to get them interested enough to watch the movie. Such would best find another URL. Reading further here will only be of interest to those who wish to unplug from The Matrix. In making use of The Matrix metaphor, what I'm recommending is to see the physical warfare of The Matrix not only as physical war, but as being symbolic also of psychic warfare, and also as a warfare of ideologies (and is an additional warning about the direction of the development of our technology as we were warned in: The Terminator, The Forbin Project, War Games, and in RollerBall (the original James Caan version, not the remake)), and that in totality it is an excellent metaphor of the Neo World Orwellian battle now waging on Ter-Ra.
If we all have "equal potential" but by freewill choice have each developed different skills to different levels as we all evolve, then there will always be "the first one" to overcome a limit, to manifest an ability, and they may need the assistance of some technology to do so... yet as evolution continues... the rest of the collective begin to learn what at first only the master, "The One", was able to do. Neo was "The One" who was first able to "best" a "Smith", an agent. And at the end of the first movie of the trilogy, even without a computer, he called "us" to notify us of what was possible, and awaken us to follow in his contrail.
Based on the newsgroup name, the newsgroup alt.movies.the-matrix is appropriate for discussing the movie named The Matrix. I suggest that the appropriate newsgroup is alt.parallel.universes for discussion of the Matrix, the reality of human enslavement into an illusion that defines, limits, and forms human Ter-Ra'an "reality".
A discussion of the Matrix (the message) rather than The Matrix (the medium) is really only possible between those of us who have sufficiently unplugged from the Matrix to be able to see it in action. While in The Matrix it is Artificial Intelligence which runs the Matrix, in human terran "reality" it is still the case that entities* run the Matrix, though with the help of quite a bit of technology.
Humanity, as a species, is deciding whether to be independent sovereigns, or democratic slaves of Corporations. The vast "reality" out there, the Matrix, is beamed by nearly every television channel, and most are unwilling to wake up out of the Matrix and see the truth, the real reality, behind all the lies we accept in the name of "News".
Based on my investigations into the higher dimensions / paranormal / spiritual, I keep arriving at awareness of our reality being expressly and purposefully veiled. It's not just that we as individuals have become lost in illusion, lost in lower dimensions forgetting our essence and the reality of our higher dimensional self. We all know that somehow, we all could be enlightened, but for whatever reason, aren't fully manifesting out abilities. So, questions:
If we were to evidence a higher level of consciousness, what is the reality we'd discover beyond the illusion? What would we awaken to? Is it fantastically either better or worse than the illusion we play in called "real"?
It looks like humanity is currently under the possession and control of a group of higher dimensional / lighter density extraterrestrials, who, operating in conjunction with human companions, are operating a covert government of earth, the reality of which is that most surface dwellers operating in conjunction with their aparent government, are in actuality simply being used as a slave race in subservience to our overlords. They have given us a variety of illusions to keep us quitely subservient.
Amongst alien abduction reports are a consistent message that when abductees protest and tell the abductors that they do not have the right to do what they're doing to the humans, the humans are told in response, "Yes, we do"... indicating that the relationship we have to our overlords is not much different than "lower" animals experience in relationship to the humans who abduct them for laboratory experiments or as sources of food. One of our illusions is thinking we are at the top of the food chain.
Likewise, thinking that we have freedom, free will choice, keeps us from revolting against the hierarchy and the tedious lives of slavery we live producing for not only ourselves, but also for those parasitic overlords who farm us.
Other references indicated consistenly that certain ETs refer to us as "containers", and aparently they buy, sell, and barter souls as we would any commodity. A way of looking at the design of a human is that a body is the hardware, a soul is the software. And we know how important it is to have the latest upgrades of both.
If we were to evidence a higher level of empowerment, what is the reality we'd create instead of the illusion? What would "heaven" or "paradise" look like to you?
I liked the presentation in "What Dreams May Come", of how we each can create our own "reality" in "heaven", but in order to share, we have to agree on a "reality" to be shared, and that cocreated shared reality is a lot nicer than the one we have cocreated and now share physically.
Presuming you could ascend today to total consciousness and total empowerment to manifest any thought or desire, how would you be manifesting in the playground of the reality you cocreated in question 2?
Don Juan referred to it as "reality by consensus", and its' effect upon us appears to be very powerful. Every Spiritual Master I have ever read about speaks of the illusion we have trapped ourselves in, and for the need to wake up from the illusion and begin to truly "See".
For me the metaquestion / metalesson is... since we know this world is a cocreated illusion, consensus reality, and that it is possible for the individual to step outside the consensus and create any private reality, and for the collective to grow and evolve and change its' shared reality... how do we most effectively do so, and in which direction?
While the laws of many nations and the behaviours of many adults violate the rights of minors, once an individual has reached the age of Majority, usually around age 18 for some aspects of life but varying from 12 to 21 for others, we finally acknowledge them as a self-responsible being, begin to deprive their parents of the so-called "right" to control that being, and begin to offer them whatever level of "sovereignty" is available within the local political system. Once you've liberated yourself from debts and other obligations in the physical world, there is the karma of other lifetimes to complete to arrive at total freedom of choice (free dominion) in the here and now. From this place of empowerment it becomes actually possible to follow spiritual guidance, and / or to claim your proactive powers of creation, creativity.
Much of spiritual guidance, and the assistance of "guides" is in service to the mission you contracted to accomplish during this incarnation. When this mission is completed, then another quantum level of freedom is made available. Part of the multi-incarnational karma to heal is the "original sin" of "the fall", each individual's mistakes or errors of belief and choice, made at the spiritual level and thereby impacting all incarnations. Part of each human's mission is to bring more light to the planet, a living entity which nurtures our life, and whom we nurture. The ability to channel the light of Source to heal others including earth is a function of the quality of connection you have with the Source. Healing of one's karma and "sin" (mistakes) to bring integrity and power in that connection, to remove obstacles and blockages in that direct channelling of the Source light, facilitates your mission and karmic completion to achieve freedom, empowerment in the here and now to create and enjoy free dominion.
What contracts and agendas are you attached to, are attached to you? Why? Are you sure you really want to keep them? What must you do to free yourself from them? Are you willing to do the work required to achieve free dominion?
Consider that Humanity is not only engaged in the ascension process, but also in the process of achieving racial adulthood, claiming our godhood, i.e. sovereignty, and liberating ourselves from the slavery to other races (ETs) we have lived in for so long. The Neo World Orwellian is only new in that it represents further steps in the loss of sovereignty into the darkness of enslavement to dark evil forces of both Terran and ExtraTerrestrial origins. Only self-responsibility will move us forward.
A sovereign is an individual operating in dominion, a divine creator operating harmlessly from spiritual source.
A sovereign is not concerned with harmless creations of other sovereigns. Live and let live.
Sovereigns have use only for truth. Lies and deceit are only useful in the games of non-sovereigns operating in domination of each other rather than in dominion. A society of sovereigns is win-win-win. Any right-wrong win-lose paradigm can only exist between those struggling for domination.
Domination comes originally from self-denial of self-power, and the consequent need to (ab)use other's power in place of the denied self-power. The only antidote is to reclaim one's divine self-responsibility. What must be given-up is all victimhood-victimization, blame, and control of others, to arrive in a mode where all of your free will in your dominion in your reality is harmless and self responsible. Learn to live with all the freedom you can have that does not betray responsibility for the impact of your actions on others (loving versus hurtful), or karma will sneak up on you and bite you in the butt. If you don't make your responsibility conscious and keep it directly related to your actions and impacts, it will come back to you karmically, subconsciously, randomly, and it will take more work to clear, to balance your karmic accounts, because you must work to connect the consequences (karmically implemented effects in your reality) with their causes (your intents and actions and their impacts on others) from other time-space coordinates (e.g. past lives).
*Entities: Spirits/Souls, whether or not they "currently" are embodied, and regardless in which body types or on which planets manifest their embodiments (incarnations). Thus both terran humans and all varieties of "Extra-Terrestrials", and all "angels", "demons", etc. are "entities".
